The Department of Biology at the College of Science (morning study) organized a field visit for third-year students as part of the practical Mycology course to the Department of Plant Protection at the College of Agriculture – University of Kerbala.
The visit aimed to introduce students to the most common fungal pathogens that infect plants and cause various diseases, in addition to reviewing laboratory and field control methods.
This visit is part of the practical and applied side of the curriculum, intended to enhance students’ scientific understanding, connect it with agricultural and research realities, and develop their skills in diagnosis and prevention.
