The College of Science at the University of Kerbala, in collaboration with the Environmental Friend Group and the Al-Razzaza and Western Euphrates Research Unit, organized a training workshop on the use of noise pollution measurement devices, with the participation of several college staff members.
The workshop aimed to equip participants with the skills to identify sources of noise pollution within the college, as a first step toward a broader project that will eventually cover the entire university and province, with the goal of establishing a database to help develop effective environmental solutions.
The workshop was presented by Lecturer Dr. Hamed Jihad Hamidi and Researcher Asia Salem Ahmed, and included a practical demonstration on how to use the device and emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of noise pollution.
