On the occasion of World Environment Day, observed on June 5th, and the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, marked on June 17th, the Razzaza and Western Euphrates Research Unit, in coordination with the Deanery of the College of Science, is organizing an environmental awareness event on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

This event aims to shed light on pressing environmental issues and raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and the urgent need to combat the threats of desertification and drought, which endanger the future of coming generations.

All faculty members and students are warmly invited to participate in this important environmental event and contribute to spreading environmental awareness both on campus and beyond.
