Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Mahdi Shaheed and Assistant Professor Dr. Zina Thamer Abdul-Hussein, faculty members at the faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, participated in the Eighth Ministerial Training of Trainers (TOT) Program on teaching methods for blended learning, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
The program brought together more than 120 faculty members from various Iraqi universities and focused on enhancing participants’ skills in adopting blended learning strategies and employing modern tools, thereby contributing to improving the quality of higher education and advancing the academic environment in line with global trends.
Both participants demonstrated strong commitment to benefiting from the course through active engagement and knowledge exchange, offering innovative ideas to strengthen blended education and improve the quality of the teaching process at the College of Science.
This participation comes as part of the College of Science and the University of Kerbala’s strategy to support professional development and academic advancement programs, aiming to enhance educational outcomes and prepare a capable scientific generation ready to face future challenges.
