The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a field visit for its faculty members and postgraduate students to Al-Zahraa Center – University of Al-Zahraa. The visit aimed to explore the available research instruments, gain insight into their operational principles, and understand their applications in scientific testing and analysis.

The visit was attended by distinguished faculty members, including Prof. Khawla Jameel Taher, Prof. Firas Kamel Mohammed, and Prof. Noor Jawad Ridha, along with a group of postgraduate students. Participants closely followed demonstrations on the functionality of scientific instruments and their practical use in various analytical procedures.

The program also included an introductory tour of the center, during which participants received detailed explanations of the mechanisms and practical applications of the research equipment. This initiative seeks to enhance the hands-on expertise of faculty members and further develop the research skills of postgraduate students, thereby supporting their scientific investigations in the field of applied physics
