Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Salah Hameed, Assistant Dean of the faculty of Science for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the University of Kerbala, participated in a panel symposium organized by the university in cooperation with the National Security Directorate in Kerbala on the topic of “The Iraqi National Security Strategy for the Years 2025–2030.”

The symposium was held within the framework of cooperation among state institutions to introduce participants to the key concepts of the national security strategy and to raise awareness about the importance of security and community protection from negative phenomena.

The discussions addressed various dimensions of national security—including political, economic, social, religious, and media aspects—with a particular focus on the impact of social media platforms on Iraq’s security landscape.
