The Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a training course entitled “Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy.” The course aimed to introduce participants to this scientific technique, its principles, applications, and its role in identifying and characterizing organic compounds.
The course included an explanation of the theoretical foundations of NMR spectroscopy and its applications in the study of organic compounds, along with illustrative examples of spectra for specific compounds. This contributed to enhancing participants’ understanding of how this technique can be effectively utilized in chemical analysis and accurate compound identification.
This course is part of a series of scientific programs designed to develop the skills of students and researchers in the field of chemistry and to strengthen their ability to employ modern techniques in the characterization and study of organic compounds.
The course was delivered by:
Prof. Dr. Zaid Hassan Aboud
Prof. Dr. Rahman Toma Hyool
Assist. Lect. Haider Raheem Ali
