The Razzaza and West Euphrates Research Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a five-day training course for laboratory staff entitled “Molecular Biology Techniques in Detail.”

The course aimed to enhance participants’ practical skills in the field of molecular biology and included a series of hands-on experiments ranging from DNA extraction to the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique, concluding with gel electrophoresis.

This course comes as part of the College of Science’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the practical and research competencies of laboratory personnel and to provide advanced expertise in modern techniques aligned with the latest scientific developments in molecular biology.
