Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the supervision of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Apparatus / Department of Student Activities – Voluntary Work Division, the College of Science at the University of Kerbala participated in the First Volunteer Work Conference held at Al-Hakim Hall, University of Baghdad, with the participation of 50 public and private universities.
The College presented an outstanding model in supporting and organizing volunteer activities through the participation of student Thulfiqar Saad Abduljaleel, who showcased the College’s efforts in implementing student-led community service initiatives and promoting a spirit of cooperation among students.
This participation reflects the pioneering role of the College of Science in fostering a culture of volunteerism, in alignment with the vision of the University of Kerbala and the strategic goals of the Ministry of Higher Education to support initiatives that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and building a responsible and engaged academic community.
