Based on an invitation extended by the Organizing Committee of the Second International Conference held by the Department of Physics at the University of the Punjab in India, Professor Nebras Musa Imran, a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, participated as a keynote lecturer in the conference’s scientific program. He delivered a lecture titled:
“Tuning the Stability and Electronic Properties of (Mono and Double)-Layer MgONs Through ALn Exohedral Doping.”
The lecture addressed an in-depth investigation of the stability and properties of mono- and double-layer MgON nanostructures through exohedral doping using ALn elements, with a focus on how this process enhances the electronic and physical characteristics of these materials.
Dr. Nebras’s participation in the conference comes as part of the University of Kerbala’s efforts to strengthen international academic and scientific cooperation, support research and innovation in modern physics, and highlight the role of Iraqi expertise in global scientific forums.
