The Department of Biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a scientific field visit for third-year students to the Public Health Laboratory affiliated with the Kerbala Health Directorate, under the supervision of a group of the department’s faculty members.

The visit aimed to strengthen students’ practical skills and bridge academic knowledge with real-world applications in healthcare institutions. During the visit, participants were introduced to the operational mechanisms of public health laboratories and the diagnostic tests conducted to safeguard community health and ensure the quality of medical services.

The Director of the Training and Human Development Center at the Kerbala Health Directorate expressed his appreciation to the University of Kerbala and the College of Science for their continued cooperation, emphasizing the importance of such visits in preparing a scientifically capable generation equipped with practical experience.
