Faculty of Science Organizes a Training Course on Techniques and Analysis of Structural and Optical Characterization of Nanomaterials and Their Medical Applications

The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a training course entitled “Techniques and Analysis of Structural and Optical Characterization of Nanomaterials and Their Medical Applications”, aiming to enhance the practical and theoretical knowledge of academic staff as well as postgraduate and undergraduate students.

The course provided practical explanations of various techniques used in the structural characterization of nanomaterials, such as X-ray techniques, in addition to optical techniques including UV–Vis spectroscopy. It also highlighted the medical applications of nanomaterials and their roles in diagnostic and therapeutic fields.

This course is part of a series of scientific and training activities organized by the College of Science in support of its plans to develop research skills and keep pace with recent scientific advancements in nanotechnology techniques and their medical applications.

The course was delivered by:

Assist. Prof. Hamza Abdul-Kadhim Muzhir

Assist. Prof. Kazim Mustafa Kazim

Assist. Prof. Hawraa Mohammed Abbas

Assist. Prof. Bashar Alaa Mohammed

Lecturer Dalir Abdul-Mahdi Karim
