During a meeting with the deans of colleges of engineering and science at universities, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed procedures for implementing the Bologna Process in the current academic year.

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted the importance of transformation in the educational system towards the Bologna Process, which would address the gap and bring closer the paths between the university environment and the labor market in the public and private sectors.

His Excellency stressed that the Bologna Process represents the most important milestones of success achieved by the Higher Education and its institutions.

Dr. Al-Aboudi also reviewed that the implementation of the indicator in the four technical universities was praised by the UNESCO office and the European Union mission in Baghdad.

His Excellency demonstrated that the colleges of engineering and science and their departments deserve to bear this responsibility and contribute in completing the steps of continuous success.

For their part, the Deans of the colleges expressed their visions, the map of tasks, and the steps included in the Bologna process in the implementation process, which will provide new momentum for the educational process through the student’s adoption of the new executive procedures as a basis.

It is worth to be mentioned that the meeting was attended by a number of senior staff.
