During a joint meeting with the Parliamentary Strategic Planning and Federal Service Committee, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi stressed the importance of integration between the legislative and executive authorities and the embodiment of the government program in the institutional performance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its university institutions.

For their part, the attendees reviewed the aspects of the government program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, while the session witnessed a detailed presentation of the axes, priorities and procedures related to the quality of education, scientific research and innovation, the position of Iraqi universities in the rankings, the aspect of developing the infrastructure of academic institutions and international partnerships, enhancing opportunities for continuing education, and an explanation of the comprehensive electronic transformation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, automating its work, improving efficiency and implementing services through smart applications that meet development needs in the fields of learning, education, scientific research and community service.

For its part, the Parliamentary Committee for Strategic Planning and Federal Service, its Chairman and members praised the level of scientific implementation of the government program procedures in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the establishment of e-governance and comprehensive digital transformation in its academic environment, calling at the same time for the adoption of the model achieved by Higher Education in State’s institutions.
