The Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Science, University of Karbala, organized its first university morning session. This initiative aligns with the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. The morning gathering aimed to raise awareness among female students about the dangers of several negative phenomena affecting young women today, such as harassment, cyber extortion, and drug abuse. Posters were distributed to emphasize the importance of creating an environment that rejects harassment.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has called for the organization of university morning sessions and cultural activities to educate female students about the negative phenomena they may encounter.
