The College of Science at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific course titled “Obesity and Hormonal Imbalance: Causes – Laboratory Diagnosis and Treatment”, as part of its educational and scientific programs aimed at promoting health awareness and disease prevention.

The course aimed to introduce the condition of obesity, particularly obesity caused by hormonal imbalance, by discussing its causes, symptoms, laboratory diagnostic methods, and reviewing the latest approved treatment approaches.

The course covered four main themes: a general introduction to obesity, the physiological aspects of hormonal imbalance, laboratory diagnostic techniques, and treatment methods.

This initiative reflects the college’s commitment to supporting health awareness and integrating academic knowledge with practical applications in the medical field.
