College of Science Participates in Scientific Symposium on Invasive and Alien Species and Their Impact on the Iraqi Environment

The College of Science participated in a scientific symposium held at the Research Center and Natural History Museum, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The college was represented by Dr. Sanad Shamil Omar from the Razzaza and Western Euphrates Research Unit, and Dr. Hamed Jihad Hamidi from the Department of Biology.
The symposium featured a series of scientific lectures that shed light on the negative impacts of invasive and alien species on the Iraqi environment. It also discussed potential strategies to curb their spread and develop effective management plans.
