Baghdad has been selected as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2025 by the Arab Tourism Organization during its meeting in Cairo, in recognition of the city’s rich cultural heritage and its fulfillment of Arab tourism standards.

This title aims to enhance Iraq’s presence on the Arab and international tourism map, and was achieved through the joint efforts of relevant government institutions.
