In accordance with the timelines and directives issued by the Department of Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the College of Science is pleased to announce the initiation of the seat reallocation mechanism to fill vacant positions under the self-funded (private expense) channel for applicants to postgraduate programs for the academic year 2025–2026.
The process will be implemented in line with the following ministerial guidelines:
Submission of reallocation requests will begin on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 8:00 AM and will remain open until Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Requests must be submitted exclusively through the applicant’s personal electronic account. Paper-based submissions will not be accepted.
Reallocation is permitted only for vacant seats within the self-funded admission plan. It does not apply to seats designated for special quotas or privileges.
All applications must be submitted electronically. Upon submission, the system will generate a unique request number and timestamp for each application.
Failure to submit a request within the specified period results in forfeiture of the applicant’s right to compete for the available seats.
Applicants will only be eligible to submit a reallocation request if they meet all of the following conditions:
1. They are permitted to request reallocation under the applicable regulations.
2. They have successfully passed the competitive entrance examination.
3. A vacant seat is available within the targeted program’s self-funded admission plan.
Any request that does not meet the above criteria will be automatically rejected by the system.
The Faculty urges all applicants to adhere strictly to the announced instructions and deadlines to preserve their rights in the application and competition process.
The attached table provides a detailed breakdown of the available vacant seats (Master’s / Doctoral programs) across all departments of the College.
We extend our best wishes for success to all applicants.
