The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a training course titled “Fortran Programming: Fundamentals and Applications”, as part of a series of programs aimed at developing the skills of students and researchers in the field of modern computational physics.
The course introduced the Fortran programming language, its foundational concepts, installation and usage methods, variable types, mathematical operations, and common programming errors. It also included practical applications related to computing mathematical functions and simulations in computational physics.
The course concluded with a practical examination designed to assess participants’ understanding and the extent of their benefit from the training content.
The course was delivered by:
Prof. Dr. Raja Khudhair Mohammed
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ammar Sadih Hameed
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doaa Adel Surran
