In line with its commitment to promoting social solidarity and reinforcing humanitarian values, a delegation of faculty members from the College of Science, University of Kerbala, conducted a visit to the Oncology Department at Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital to provide both material and moral support to hospitalized patients.

The visit program included an overview of the medical services provided within the department, as well as direct engagement with a number of patients to better understand their needs. The delegation also offered financial assistance and symbolic gifts to patients, in an initiative aimed at boosting their morale and alleviating their suffering. The visitors commended the significant efforts of the medical and nursing staff in delivering healthcare services.

This initiative forms part of a series of humanitarian activities undertaken by the College to serve the community and strengthen its role in supporting vulnerable groups, particularly patients facing serious health challenges. The visit was warmly received by patients and their families, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this compassionate gesture.
