Science, University of Karbala, submitted by student Saif Mohammed Hassan Abbas, focused on the synthesis of novel urea compounds incorporating naturally derived fragments as lipophilic groups within the compound&#8217;s structure.<br \/>\nThe study aimed to investigate the physical properties of these compounds\u2014such as melting points and water solubility\u2014as well as their biological activity as potent inhibitors of the soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) enzyme, which plays a key role in high blood pressure and neuroinflammatory pain associated with inflammatory conditions in the human body.<br \/>\nThe findings revealed that the synthesized compounds demonstrated strong inhibitory potency, with IC50 values reaching 0.7 nanomolar, along with high water solubility.<br \/>\nBased on the obtained results, the study recommended continuing the synthesis of urea compounds, particularly those incorporating bornyl fragments of natural origin, due to their.<\/p>\n<div
