The Human Rights Unit at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a scientific seminar titled \u201cAwareness and Prevention of the Dangers of Drug Use\u201d, delivered by Assistant Lecturers Ali Kazem Awad and Fursan Abdullah Abd Ali.
\nThe seminar aimed to raise students\u2019 awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and its negative effects on both mental and physical health, as well as its social repercussions that threaten individual well-being and societal stability.
\nThe session addressed several effective prevention strategies, including strengthening religious values, reinforcing cultural principles, emphasizing the importance of family bonds, and fostering trust and open communication with children to help them share and resolve their problems.
\nThis seminar is part of the college\u2019s ongoing efforts to promote health and social awareness among students and to strengthen the university\u2019s role in building an informed and resilient society against behavioral risks.<\/p>\n
