\u00a0During a meeting with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, Mr. Elbrus Kotrashev, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi highlighted prospects for bilateral cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research.<\/p>\n
Dr. Al-Aboudi affirmed the Ministry and its academic institutions’ keenness on strengthening partnerships with Russian universities and developing scientific and cultural exchange programs through the (Study in Iraq) program, which represents a strategic window for attracting international students.<\/p>\n
His Excellency demonstrated that the two sides agreed on strengthening understanding, joining academic work, and institutional coordination to serve the educational and development goals of the two friendly countries.<\/p>\n
For his part, the Russian Ambassador expressed his country’s interest in expanding academic cooperation, praising the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts in institutional modernization, as well as expressing his welcome and readiness on engaging with the (Study in Iraq) program and coordinate the admission of Russian students to Iraqi universities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
