It highlighted the transition from traditional methods to advanced systems based on Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled sensors, Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking technologies, and cloud-based databases that allow precise and real-time monitoring of radioactive sources.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar also focused on the key advantages of this transformation, including the reduction of direct human intervention to protect personnel from radiation exposure, as well as enabling rapid response through automated alert systems in the event of any unauthorized movement.<\/p>\n<p>In the same context, the speakers discussed the challenges facing digital radiological security, most notably cybersecurity threats that may lead to data manipulation, concealment of radioactive material theft, or disruption of safety systems.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar concluded with an outlook on the future of radiological security, emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence in risk prediction, in addition to the use of blockchain technology to ensure transparency in tracking radioactive materials and preventing tampering.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar was delivered by:<\/p>\n<p>-Assistant Professor Dr. Auras Mousa
