{"id":629,"date":"2021-12-28T16:57:34","date_gmt":"2021-12-28T13:57:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/science.uokerbala.edu.iq\/en\/?p=629"},"modified":"2021-12-28T16:57:34","modified_gmt":"2021-12-28T13:57:34","slug":"a-researcher-at-the-university-of-kerbala-has-obtained-a-patent-to-be-able-to-produce-silver-nanoparticles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/science.uokerbala.edu.iq\/en\/2021\/12\/28\/a-researcher-at-the-university-of-kerbala-has-obtained-a-patent-to-be-able-to-produce-silver-nanoparticles\/","title":{"rendered":"A researcher at the University of Kerbala has obtained a patent to be able to produce silver nanoparticles."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">Dr. Professor Luma Majied Ahmed at the University of Kerbala \/ College of Science obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control to enable it to produce silver nanoparticles by the direct ion exchange method and to prove its effectiveness in inhibiting antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">As well as including an explanation of how to prepare hybrid nanocomposites from silver nanoparticles with nickel \/ aluminum dihydroxide layers by different preparation methods using reducing agents and proving their effectiveness in inhibiting the growth of some pathogenic bacteria.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">Two ways; direct and indirect methods were used through different acid functions and proved that the percentage of its release in the compound prepared by direct methods is higher and takes less time compared to its releasing in the compound prepared indirectly.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">The patent is used to solve a number of problems in many fields, including the resistance of many bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics that are currently discovered. It is considered a promising alternative with results that solve the problem of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\">The researcher was able to put an important scientific imprint in the field of chemical research and was able to obtain the title of professor in the year 2018. Also, she has held the position of a head of the chemistry department recently due to her administrative efficiency and her broad knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery
