A master’s thesis at the College of Science at the University of Kerbala has discussed the study of the green synthesis of copper nanoparticles using myrtle leaf extract: Characterization by student Ayat Karim Deli.<\/span>
\nThe study aimed at preparing green copper nanoparticles from an environmentally friendly material, as well as improving the appropriate conditions for preparing copper nanoparticles, characterizing the prepared nanoparticles and applying the prepared copper nanoparticles. The study concluded the success of preparing copper nanoparticles from the extract of the leaves of the aquatic lily plant. In addition, the volume of 10 ml of extract of M. communis leaves and boiling for 10 minutes are the best conditions for the synthesis of photochemicals which are responsible for the reduction and stabilization of nanoparticles. The prepared CuNPs possess good antioxidant activity, as well as copper nanoparticles, have good catalytic activity and myrtus communis has antibacterial activity and copper nanoparticles do not cause hemolysis and therefore can be used in pharmaceutical fields.<\/span><\/p>\n
