The PhD thesis in the College of Science has discussed the disclosure of the relationship between environmental pollution of radiation represented by some alpha emitters and chemical pollution of some toxic elements. This was for blood and tissue samples for patients with five types of cancer at high rates of cancer in the years following the Gulf War by student Hawra Muhammad Abbas.<\/span>
\nThe study aims to use laser rays in the early diagnosis of cancer and to link radioactive contamination with alpha and chemical emitters with trace elements.<\/span>
\nFor five types of cancer and for two types of human samples, which are tissues and blood in Kerbala governorate, which witnessed a rise in rates after the Gulf War and industrial progress in recent years.<\/span>
\nThe study has concluded the possibility of using laser beams in the early detection of cancer. High rates of radioactive contamination in samples of cancer patients compared to healthy subjects were investigated.<\/span>
\nThe incidence of cancer was affected by the change in the concentrations of some essential trace elements such as zinc, manganese and nickel.<\/span>
\nThe ratio of cancer was affected by the patient’s gender, age, place of residence, smoking and type of cancer, as it was higher among kidney cancer patients for both sexes.<\/span>
\nThe study has recommended avoiding housing near pollution areas, electric power generators, and areas used in chemical landfills, and reducing phosphate agricultural fertilizers.<\/span>
\nAvoid smoking and avoid consuming substances with toxic and radioactive contamination. Do not take nutritional supplements without medical advice.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
