The College of Science at the University of Karbala, in collaboration with Al-Husayniya holy threshold , organized a training course on biological museums. The course focused on the significance of biological museums and how to preserve collections from biological factors and environmental changes.

The objectives of the course included familiarizing participants with some of the world’s biological museums and leveraging them for educational purposes. The training covered modern scientific methods for documenting, examining, and analyzing museum collections, emphasizing the importance of preserving artifacts against biological factors and environmental changes. The course fostered interactive engagement among students and faculty members.
