During the inauguration of new laboratories and halls in the centers for research and treatment of blood diseases and diabetes research affiliated to Mustansiriyah University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi said that the Ministry is keen on making universities linked to the needs of society via providing the necessary services, especially medical and therapeutic ones, and conducting scientific and applied research aimed at serving citizens and development requirements. 

Dr. Al-Aboudi conducted a tour at the Departments of Centers, as well as directing the need to provide medical services within the policy of integration with health institutions.

His Excellency also toured the Iraqi Center for Cancer Research and Medical Genetics and the Immunology and Coagulation Laboratory of Mustansiriyah University.

Dr. Al-Aboudi praised the efforts of the center’s employees in maintaining the scientific level and employing the available capabilities to enhance the university environment in the field of conducting research and providing specialized services.

It is worth to be mentioned that the inauguration was attended by President of Mustansiriyah University, Dr. Hamid Fadhil.
