During laying the foundation stone for the Al-Akhwa Residential City , in which located in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi confirmed that this project represents a new map of sincere work.
His Excellency highlighted that the time for registration in it is near and that the aspects of differentiation and competition have been formulated according to the fair decisions and controls written down by the relevant experts, technicians and legal experts.
Dr. Al-Aboudi reiterated in his speech that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is continuing to implement its programs indicated in the government program and the Ministerial curriculum of the esteemed Iraqi government and is concerned with overcoming all difficulties that may hinder the implementation of public service projects and committed to protecting the entitlements of faculty members and employees, as well as providing the requirements and supplies that govern and organize the work of vital projects related to the aspirations of citizens and their future, including this vital project that concerns a wide segment of workers and employees in the university institution.
His Excellency reassured the faculty members and employees at the University of Baghdad and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research that their hopes will be fulfilled by obtaining decent housing, and that the Al-Akhwa City housing project, which is currently being undertaken by a number of several companies to complete it according to a studied timetable, will not be hindered by delaying again.
It is worth to be mentioned that the official ceremony included delivering speeches by representatives of the group of the companies of implementing companies and a special presentation of the technical vision that will result in a distinguished model in terms of residential projects provided with the best required services.
It is worth to be mentioned that the ceremony was attended by the President of the University of Baghdad, a number of advisors, general directors, and representatives of university administrations and the National Investment Authority.
