The Subcommittee for Academic Promotions at the Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala, held its fifth session since the beginning of the current academic year. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nargis Hadi Mansour, with the attendance of
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Abbas Nasser, Head of the Promotions Unit, along with committee members:

Prof. Dr. Rajaa Khudhur
Asst. Prof. Dr. Zina Thamer
The committee convened to review promotion applications and approve those that meet the required criteria.
The series of meetings has been ongoing from November 2024 to February 2025, with a meticulous examination of each application to ensure compliance with the required conditions and standards before forwarding approved cases to the College Council. So far, five promotion applications have been approved and submitted to the college administration for further processing.
This initiative aligns with the committee’s commitment to academic development and educational quality enhancement, by promoting faculty excellence, fostering scientific research, and encouraging innovation.
