The faculty of Science received a ministerial committee delegated by the Department of Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as part of a series of field visits aimed at monitoring the implementation of chemical, biological, and radiological safety and security requirements.

The committee’s responsibilities included inspecting laboratories and storage facilities at the College of Science, verifying adherence to the approved safety regulations and protocols to ensure the wellbeing of students, academic staff, and technical personnel, while also enhancing the efficiency of laboratory operations.

This visit aligns with the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote a safe environment across educational institutions.
