The Department of Biology at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a training course titled “Medical Waste Management”. The course aimed to raise awareness among staff and students about safe practices for disposing of medical waste.
The course covered various types of medical waste, their health and environmental risks, proper management techniques, relevant regulations, and safety procedures. It concluded by emphasizing the importance of adhering to safe standards within laboratories.
