Professor Haider Hameed Mohsen, faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science – University of Kerbala, has made a remarkable contribution to scientific research by being selected in September 2025 as a peer reviewer for several research papers in two leading international journals published by Elsevier, ranked within the first (Q1) and second (Q2) quartiles of global journal classifications.

This achievement reflects Professor Haider Hameed Mohsen’s outstanding research competence and excellence in scholarly evaluation. It also underscores the continuous efforts of the faculty members of the University of Karbala in supporting academic advancement and strengthening the university’s reputation both locally and internationally.
