Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Mahdi Shahid, a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, participated in the work of the ministerial committee tasked with establishing a Master’s program in Analytical Chemistry at the College of Science, University of Babylon.

This participation comes as part of the active scientific role played by the faculty members of the University of Kerbala in supporting and developing postgraduate programs across Iraqi universities. Dr. Ihsan Mahdi contributed his academic expertise and scientific insights to enrich the committee’s discussions and provide recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of the proposed program.

The establishment of this specialization represents an important step toward advancing scientific research in the field of Analytical Chemistry, as it contributes to preparing distinguished research cadres capable of supporting innovation, scientific productivity, and serving both academic and industrial sectors in Iraq.
