A scientific field trip was organized for fourth-year students (evening study) of the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, University of Karbala, to the laboratories of Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (Turkish) Hospital. The visit aimed to familiarize students with modern laboratory equipment and the medical tests conducted in hospital laboratories.

The trip included visits to the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory and the Parasitology Laboratory, in addition to the Immunology and Hormone Testing Laboratory. The specialized staff provided comprehensive explanations about the nature of the work and the mechanisms used to carry out laboratory tests.

The visit also included a tour of various hospital departments, allowing students to learn more about the healthcare services provided to patients. Hospital officials explained the workflow and organization of work within the different sections.

At the end of the visit, the supervising professors and students praised the efforts of the hospital administration and staff, commending their role in providing the best healthcare services to the citizens.
