The Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a specialized training course entitled “Training Laboratory Staff and Undergraduate Students on the Laboratory Preparation of Chemical Substances in All Their States.” The course was attended by a number of laboratory personnel and first-year students from scientific disciplines.

The course aimed to enhance the participants’ professional and cognitive skills in the accurate preparation of chemical substances according to established scientific principles, with an emphasis on applying quality standards and laboratory safety procedures.

The program included both theoretical and practical components, covering the fundamentals of chemical preparation, the preparation of solids, liquids, and solutions, methods for handling gases in the laboratory, as well as laboratory safety measures and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
