The Department of Physics at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a training course titled “Ultraviolet Radiation: Its Risks and Prevention Methods”, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of ultraviolet (UV) rays in producing vitamin D, while also warning against the dangers of excessive exposure due to their link to cancer development.
The course covered key topics such as the types of UV radiation, its benefits and harms, and effective methods of protection.
