In alignment with the directives of the Presidency of Kerbala University that aimed at ensuring the optimal use of water resources, the College of Science has initiated a comprehensive maintenance campaign targeting both the sprinkler and drip irrigation systems within the college’s internal and external gardens.

The initiative seeks to enhance the efficiency of irrigation systems, contributing to water conservation and the creation of a sustainable green environment on campus. This effort aligns with national policies promoting water rationalization and sustainable development goals.

The maintenance work includes inspecting and replacing damaged components, cleaning pipes and filters, recalibrating irrigation schedules to meet plant needs, and upgrading certain sections of the system to ensure comprehensive coverage of all planted areas.

The Dean of the College emphasized that this initiative reflects the college’s commitment to providing a comfortable and attractive educational environment while adhering to modern environmental standards in natural resource management.
