During the Ambition and Creativity Forum for scholarship candidates, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi confirmed that the international accreditation granted to Iraq in the field of medical education bears a clear indication of the recognized study programs and the universality of the standards adopted in the Iraqi university environment.

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that this qualitative and pioneering historical achievement in the history of specialized and academic education in Iraq came to the combined efforts of the dedicated people in the National Council for Medical Education and Integration, which the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions worked on to achieve this goal and strategic achievement that It bears a clear indication of the recognized study programs in Iraq and the universality of standards adopted in Iraqi universities.

His Excellency reviewed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research had accomplished with all confidence, pride, responsibility and in record time what the sincere people in the field of medical education aspire to, and provided a supportive professional environment for the Accreditation Council for Medical Colleges in Iraq and gave positive momentum in communicating with the World Federation for Medical Education until the moment came for the global decision to grant Iraq the international reliability.

Dr. Al-Aboudi renewed his pledge to make every effort to provide an educational environment that contributes to develop academic capabilities and programs, as well as keeping pace with medical and scientific developments in the world.
